It's our first day out on the water. It wasn't a pretty site as a few people got a bit queasy. Other than that the water was crystal clear, the corals were kickin', and the fish were beautiful. We somewhat went over transects today. Boris would not approve of the organization of this portion of the class. Some of the class snorkeled to identify the corals and the little fishies, while the other half transected. It wasn't exactly hands on, nor was it labor intensive. On the bright side, we got to swim with the rays and nurse sharks. I had no camera as I didn't want to risk it getting wet. Once again I had to resort to mental pictures. Here's what I can recall
